Some of you may have been following a rather unique story concerningBob’s Game. Bob Pelloni is an indie developer who made headlines around the Blogocube by developing his own Nintendo DS game, completely from scratch, learning the required skills as he went along. The last time we met Bob, Nintendo had refused to license the game and he washolding a 100-day protest, locked within his room.

Well, it would seem that solitary confinement has caused Bobto go beyond.

In a new update, Bob has demanded that Nintendo take notice of his genius, claiming that his work “is a game by ONE PERSON, and it’s one of the GREATEST GAMES EVER MADE — if not THE BEST.

“I stand alone on a mountain no other has even dared to climb,” continues Bob. “I have swam across the ocean only cruise ships could cross. I have walked through the desert of no return. I have stepped in the footprints of none, a path never taken. I have MADE HISTORY, and history cannot be undone. It’s too late, Nintendo.”

Now claiming to be “the greatest game developer that ever lived,” Bob has also challenged the genius of  “Miyamoto, Itoi, Kojima, Carmack, and Wright COMBINED.” Bob claims that none of those men could do what he has done. “They rely on the assistance of others- and take all the credit. They don’t even deserve their titles!  I have bested them all by far.”

Marketing stunt? Obviously that is whatsomewould say. We prefer to think Bob has legitimately lost his marbles.

As Bob continues to lock himself in his “Viridian Room” and grows steadily less stable, we can only wonder how long it takes before he starts eating his own feces. We’ll be there to cover that feces as when it drops!
