Lava Dragon Statue is a world boss inGenshin Impactthat drops character ascension materials. It is located inside an underground cavern that can be tricky to find when visiting for the first time.

Lava Dragon Statue boss location guide
Teleport to the waypoint southeast of the Wayward Hermetic Spiritspeaker boss in “Masters of the Night-Wind” and head west to find a large hole in the ground. Next, jump in and interact with the Spiritscone to indwell a Tatankasaur before using its skill to break the Pulverite and enter the cave.
Finally, keep moving forward until you reach the Lava Dragon Statue boss. Make sure to unlock the nearby teleport waypoint on the way so you’re able to use it later whenever you want to challenge the boss.
Tips to beat the Lava Dragon Statue
The new Natlan boss has mechanics similar to those of the Avatars of Lava enemies. You can hit the boss with enough Pyro attacks and cause it to change form. You can use this opportunity to unleash your strongest attacks and defeat the world boss. Another option is to just use brute force to beat it before collecting your rewards.

Sparkless Statue Core is a character ascension material. As of this writing, only Varesa needs this item for her ascension. Meanwhile, the remaining drops are regular artifact sets and elemental stones for leveling up Pyro characters.
