Disney Dreamlight Valley’sSkull Rock puzzles are no joke. First, we had a lantern puzzle to solve, and now we have to move a bunch of barrels to unlock a gate. Fortunately, the Jade Skulls are the MVPs of this quest and have some key hints to help you progress.

These hints reveal that we’re pairing a pixie with a bell, a shadowed boy with something involving sewing, and a captain’s hand with a clock. Now’s your final chance to solve the puzzle on your own before we get right into the solution.

Below are all three pairings you need for Skull Rock’s barrel puzzle:
However, knowing each pair is only half the battle. Now, you need to rotate each barrel perfectly so each one aligns with the other. Let’s dive into each pair in more detail.
First pair of symbols
The first set of symbols involves a Bell and Tinkerbell. You’ll find the bell right next to the ramp leading from the lantern puzzle’s location, while Tinkerbell’s barrel is in front of the locked gate on the opposite side of the cave. Rotate the bell barrel so that it points toward the pirate ship and the Tinkerbell one so its edge is next to the ship’s lantern.
Second pair of symbols
Next on the list is Peter Pan and the sewing needle’s barrels. Peter Pan’s barrel is right next to the bell one, while the sewing needle is on the far left side of the platform where you found Tinkerbell’s. Move Peter Pan’s barrel so it’s facing the leafy green plants in front of it and the sewing needle one so it’s looking across the chasm.
Third pair of symbols
Last but not least, we have the Hook and Clock. Rocks initially block the clock barrel. Break them before turning the barrel so it faces the pirate’s ship before crossing the boat. Your last step is to rotate the book’s barrel so it’s pointing toward the ship’s steering wheel.
Once you move all six barrels, you’ll complete the puzzle, letting you advance through the A Ship of Gold quest.
