How to get The Mountaintop in Destiny 2
The Mountaintop became available in the second week ofInto the Light. Upon logging in, you’ll receive a quest to speak with Arcite 99-40 in the Hall of Champions, who will then give you the proper quest that rewards the Curated Roll for The Mountaintop.
As with the other BRAVE Arsenal weapon quests, you’ll be tasked with getting respective weapon kills, in this case, breach-loading grenade launchers.Heavy Grenade Launchers will not progress this quest!After completing the quest, you canattune to the corresponding hologram of Lord Shaxxto increase the drop rate of The Mountaintop in Onslaught.

PvE God Roll
I’ll admit that Grenade Launchers inDestiny 2aren’t really my jam. I’d much prefer a Shotgun or Glaive. However, The Mountaintop can be absolutely disgusting with the right roll. By increasing Stability and Handling, we can reliably get kills that trigger Adrenaline Junkie. Throw a Heavy Ammo Finder Mod on and Lead from Gold will kick in, ensuring your other equipped weapon will be mostly collecting dust.
PvP God Roll
My PvP Grenade Launchers live their lives a quarter mile at a time. It’s all about speed and blowing up that Guardian sitting on B before they knew what hit them. This roll does that thanks to several perks enhancing Projectile Speed while also mitigating the drawbacks from Hard Launch. Special Ammo is a valuable thing in the Crucible, so it’s important to make the most of what you get.
