If anything,Coral Islandis a game of staggered rewards. By that, I of course mean that you may have a larger goal in mind — save the island, romance that one character, clear your farm of debris — but there are a ton of smaller, more achievable goals that over time will result in the bigger goal being achieved.
At some point, you’ll begin to realize your starter tools aren’t cutting it anymore, for example. It’s then that you might think about visiting the blacksmith to upgrade one (or all, if you have a lot of corals and raw materials) of your tools, only for them to tell you you need a hefty amount of Bronze Bars.

If you’re not thinking a few steps ahead, you might be confused and not know where to find Bronze Bars. Thankfully, we’ve figured out all the ways you’re able to stock up on Bronze Bars, and it starts in a location on the island you may or may not have visited yet — The Cavern.
Getting Bronze Bars inCoral Island?
To answer this question would be skipping a step, kind of. To make Bronze Bars, you first need to obtain Bronze Ore. It’d seem the best spot to find Bronze Ore is — as mentioned above — The Cavern.
In the Earth Shaft of The Cavern, you’ll be able to spend most of your stamina breaking a seemingly endless amount of stones to see what’s inside. It helps to avoid breaking every single stone — if you do, you’re guaranteed to run out of stamina lest you bring a hefty amount of restoration items — while you may get Bronze Ore from normal stones, the drop rate is very low. Instead, look for the stones with bronze-like ore jutting out from it. Those are guaranteed to drop anywhere from 1-3 Bronze Ore each.

In addition, you can buy Bronze Ore from the blacksmith for 150 corals per unit, if you have a hole burning in your pocket.
OK — so, you’ve gathered up a good supply of Bronze Ore. How do you turn it into Bronze Bars? After your first excursion to The Cavern and after obtaining your first unit of Bronze Ore, the blacksmith will be outside your door the next morning. He’ll give you the blueprint for a Furnace and task you with making one. The Furnace takes 5 units of Bronze Ore and 1 unit of Coal, and in return gives you 1 Bronze Bar.

What can Bronze Ore / Bronze Bars be used for inCoral Island?
I mentioned earlier that you’ll need a steady supply of Bronze Bars toupgrade your toolsto their second level, and that remains true. But, what else can you use Bronze Ore and Bronze Bars for? Here’s a list of craftable items that call for either Bronze Ore or Bronze Bars in their recipes:
