Throne and Libertyoffers multiple ways to strengthen your character, armor, and weapon, from leveling your gear to investing in skills. However, you’ll notice another section of your skills screen for Weapon mastery, but no indicators of how to level it. Fortunately, you’ll unlock this feature sooner than you’d expect.

How to get Weapon Mastery in Throne and Liberty

The best way to get weapon mastery inThrone and Libertyis to redeem Training Dews you get from contracts, quests, and dungeon rewards. You can also obtain them as a Battle Pass reward if there’s one active.

Training Dews appear as teardrop items in your quest, contract, and dungeon rewards section. Once you obtain one, you’ll have 24 hours to redeem it or lose it forever. While this doesn’t block you from getting Weapon Mastery, it’ll make it harder to get some, especially in later levels where every bit of EXP counts.

Throne and Liberty Update 1.1.0 patch notes

However, Weapon Mastery isn’t a one-fits-all stat forevery weapon type.Training Dew EXP only applies to the two you currently have equipped. For example, if you’re currently using a sword and greatsword, any Training Dew EXP you gain will go toward them, leaving your other weapon types at level zero. If you suddenly swap to a wand and staff, they’ll stay at level zero until you invest additional Training Dews into them.

You may also notice that, despite reaching double-digit levels and defeating hundreds of enemies, you’re not getting any weapon mastery progress beyond Training Dew consumption. Weapon Mastery doesn’t increase with standard combat, making contracts and dungeons all the more important.

What is Weapon Mastery in Throne and Liberty?

Weapon Mastery is a feature inThrone and Libertythat gives you permanent passive buffs to your character while using specific weapons. Some buffs are basic defense, damage, and health/mana regen boosts, while others synergize with particular weapon types.

To put this into perspective, the specialweapon mastery perks from daggersinclude increased weaken and silence chance, skill cooldown speed increases, and off-hand weapon activation rate buffs. A sword, on the other hand, focuses on shield block buffs, collision resistance, and stun resistance, among other boosts. While there is an overlap between different weapon types, they typically relate to each other’s strengths and weaknesses in some way.
