Originallyreleased on Steam in January,Home Safety Hotlineputs you in the role of a phone operator helping people deal with the horrors within their own homes. Now it’s coming to consoles, and a date has been revealed along with a new trailer.

As tends to be the case with all homeowner concerns, the horrors at hand tend to vary. One caller may be worried about the stability of their home, while another may be dealing with pests of an unknown origin. Or there could be something much more sinister lurking around that dark corner downstairs. It’s up to you, as a phone operator trapped in a retro aesthetic and tied to a specific user interface, to make the call and take responsibility for your decisions.

Home Safety Hotline

Developed at Night Signal Entertainment,Home Safety Hotlinecomes fromNIGHT SIGNALandA Wonderful Day for Fishingcreator Nick Lives. It’s full of ’90s technological approximations, plenty of lurking horror — the subject matter of which can be tweaked thanks to Phobia Toggles — and lo-fi hold music from composer David Johnsen.

In addition to the main game, the console release includes the new Seasonal Worker DLC. Set in 1996, this one places you in the questionably comfy call center chair of Rebecca four days before Christmas. With the holidays around the corner, a fresh slew of household hazards are on order.
