Guilty Gear Striveseason pass owners might want to stock up on popcorn* this weekend, as Arc System Workshas announcedthat it will be dropping the “Another Story” DLC expansion on PC and PlayStation exactly one week from now: Friday, April 29.
As opposed to the recentGG StriveDLC drops — that have brought us a bevy of fantastic new characters, colors, and stages — “Another Story” is simply an extension toStrive‘s whacked-out story mode. The new chapters, which run parallel to the main timeline, will give us a glimpse of what the remainder of the roster was doing while Sol Badguy, Giovanna, Goldlewis Dickinson, That Man, and co. were farting about in Washington D.C.
The new story chapters will feature fan favorites such as the ethereal Ramlethal, the happy-go-lucky May, as well as stoic samurai swordswoman Baiken. We will also meet a mysterious child, Delilah whose sinister history ties into Bedman and the Universal Will’s previous efforts to destroy mankind. Curious.
