The latest announcement from Hudson Entertainment’s media event isPool Revolution: Cue Sports. It’s a tight little pool game designed specifically for WiiWare that will allow users to play competitively online and offline. This isn’t your mommy’s pool game, either (even though your mommy will probably want to play it), as Hudson has implemented landmark realistic controls as well as several game modes to discover and play.
As you would guess, the usage of the Wii remote is key to winning the game. Depth and strength of shots will be based on movements with the remote, but for those excessively casual players out there buttons can be used to perform the shot as well.
Anything pool-related will be incorporated into this offering. Hudson is packing eight ball, nine ball, rotation and snooker all into the same download. If you want to get crazy, you can even design your own trick shots in the game’s Puzzle Mode. Just don’t break your arm, TV, or your grandmother’s face when trying to get enough power behind the shot.

Players can choose from the most popular types of pool for up to fourplayers, including eight ball, nine ball, rotation, and snooker. For players really up for achallenge, they can even set up their own!
