Another dayanother Flash demofor an upcoming DS game. This time it’s Taito’sExitfor the DS. Granted, you’ve probably playedExiton Live or a game with similar mechanics and goals via a browser already; but this marks an interesting trend, with DS games getting playable Flash demos in increasing frequency.
Now you might say that the potentially upcoming ability todownload demos directly from a Wiimakes this pointless, and hey, that’s cool, we likestunning displays of idiocyhere at the ‘toid. Unfortunately, not all of us are blessed enough to own both a Wii and a DS, making our attempts at downloading demos hilariously fruitless.
While I’m not frothing-at-the-mouth excited to play a Flash demo of a game I’ve already played on Live, Iamexcited by the prospect of Flash demos of new DS games becoming de-riguer. With luck we’ll never have to re-live the painful experience of buying a game sight unseen only for it to turn out a total waste of time and plastic.
Even if you’ve played Exit, be sure to check outthe Flash demo; who knows, you might be pleasantly surprised.
