The S-tier formations are the meta of this game – it’s very hard to fail once you get used to them. If you’re a beginner, it will be important to adjust to the tempo of these formations and use the right players.

While these formations are pretty close to the entries on the S-tier, they have some shortcomings. An Elite Division player should still be able to mitigate those deficiencies and make full use of these tactics. You’ll also need to make some tweaks with custom tactics to make these formations more effective.

Formations in this tier are pretty fun to use, especially with the right cards. However, their effectiveness falls off against harder opponents and the more meta formations.

These formations could be good, but they’re very hard to master for most EA FC 24 players. Do note that the 4-3-3 is a good starter formation for new players.
