One of my favorite booths at E3 this past week was easily Bethesda’s. The majority of the inside of their setup was decked out with all sorts of props recreated from their upcoming game,Dishonored. Hopefully, Bethesda brings the same booth to PAX Prime this year. Fans would appreciate it way more than a bunch of jaded journalists.

Anyway, let’s take a little tour of their booth, shall we?

The first thing you see in the booth is this cube-valve-like thing that would control the image displayed on the screenplaced behind the device. Spinning the cube around to its different sides would switch the image, showing off something from the world ofDishonored.

Directly across from the first cube switch was this setup where you could get a picture of yourself getting stabbed by the main character ofDishonored. You could then share the image online, and finally prove to your parents just how great of a journalist you really are, and that dropping out of college was the best idea you ever had.

The opening area of the Whisper mission, in a small grove.

Further into the booth was this replica sword. Never in my life did I experience such an uncontrollable urge to smash the glass casing and steal something. The sword looked so badass.

Next to the sword was also thiscrossbowandgun.

Here is a replica mask worn by the main character ofDishonored. Here’s aside view of the mask.

This is a spring razor proximity mine.

And here’s a giant image of the main hero ofDishonored. Oddly, this was only viewable if you were actually inside the booth. Unless I was completely blinded by all the flashing lights of E3, I was not able to see it on display from the outside. Seems like a missed opportunity.

It all kind of felt like a little museum setup. Of course the real treat of the booth was getting some real hands-on time withDishonored. Easily one of my favorite games of the show, gocheck out our full preview ofDishonored.
