Speaking with Korean siteRuliweb(viaHachima Kikou),Dragon Questcreator Yuji Horii was asked about a series return to PlayStation consoles, to which he responded, “While I can’t say anything about it for now, we just may announce something about that in the near future.”
Given thatDragon Quest XIwas confirmed in development for consoles (not handhelds) last year and that next year is the series’ 30th anniversary, could be that a bigDragon Quest XIannouncement comes at one of the year’s big shows (E3, Gamescom, Tokyo Game Show).
Or maybe it has to do withDragon Quest Xproducer Yosuke Saitowanting the game on PlayStation 4. Or both?
