Larian Studios has taken quite the journey getting from 2002’sDivine Divinityto last year’sDivinity: Original Sin II, the latter of which might just go down as an all-time-great RPG. The next documentary from the team atGameumentaryis a deep dive into the Belgian developer’s 20-year history.
I’ll never forget that time theymade a gameabout a jetpack-wearing dragon.
They’re a tenacious bunch. This trailer hints at some of the studio’s ups and downs, and I think Larian founder Swen Vincke describes it best when he says “I’m incapable of making something small.”
