Now November 10
Last month,Bungie announced their next expansion forDestiny 2:Beyond Light. This month, they’re delaying it.
Revealed this week, the studio says thatBeyond Lightwill miss its originally scheduled September 22 date, and will now be released on November 10. No reason was given for the date shift, other than “doing what’s best for the game.” It’s a fairly significant delay of nearly two months, but Bungie says that working from home due to recent events has been “a challenge,” and will “continue” to be a challenge for the foreseeable future.

Bungie says that it will reveal “more of what [they’ve] been working on forBeyond Light,” including how they plan to stretch out the current content cadence, which is running on Season of Arrivals. As a start, this season will be extended through November 10 whenBeyond Lightis out: you can view the calendar of events below.
As long as people are safe, having to wait a bit longer for anything in this current climate is an easy tradeoff.
