Which is to be expected, really
As much as we’d like to see more ofCyberpunk 2077straight away, it’s not going to happen so soon. As recently reiterated toEurogamer, CD Projekt RED isn’t bringing the game to E3 next month. “We still have a lot of work to do withCyberpunk,” co-founder Marcin Iwinski told the outlet.
He noted that “It might happen that we will be at E3 and we will show something [else].” This mystery project may or may not be “A new type of video game format previously unexplored by the studio” referenced in a 2016 annual report, but either way, noCyberpunkblitz in a couple of weeks.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise givenpast remarksabout 2015 and 2016 being “the years of theWitcher.” And, as ever, part of me wishes we didn’t know about the game and continuednot knowingabout its existence right up until it was no more than a year out from release. Wouldn’t that be nice?
“When we show it, we should show it and explain it,” said Iwinski. “So I’m going to have people not read anything aboutCyberpunkprobably for the next… time. Whatever the time will be.”

Don’t expect Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 – or any time soon[Eurogamer]
