Doughnut Drake, a staple of theUnchartedseries since the first game, is no more.Speaking to GamesRadar, Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann noted that he “didn’t want to have a laugh at someone’s expense,” and that he “thought we’d matured beyond that.” Apparently the model was done and the decision was reached to not include it inUncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
I find this change of heart really odd, because even as recent as theNathan Drake Collectionsix months ago, they doubled-down on this skin. If you want something in your game to be a certain way, go for it.
