The first announcement ofThe Game Awardspre-show just might end up being one of the best reveals of the night.Dead Cells, one of the best games of the past five years, is getting a new DLC campaign in 2023 that’ll bring some familiar faces.Dead Cells: Return to Castlevanialooks like it’ll bring Simon, Richter, and Dracula to the world ofDead Cells.
Or is the Beheaded invading the world ofCastlevania? Either way works for me as these are two excellent franchises that’ll likely go together like peanut butter and jelly. Or a brick wall and cooked chicken.
Return to Castlevaniais the third DLC package forDead Cells, followingRise of the GiantandThe Queen and the Sea. The game is available on nearly every platform and was recently released for Apple Arcade asDead Cells+. That’s how I’ve been playing it recently and I keep forgetting how much I love this game. Hopefully, I’ll be able to experience this DLC on the platform when it releases in Q1 2023.
