Participants have been pre-selected
It turns out that Sony has aBloodbornealphaplanned for North America after all. This morning, invites went out for Sony Computer Entertainment European territories, and invites confirming North American participants will go out later today.
A representative from Sony Computer Entertainment America verified the news to Destructoid and elaborated on how the process works. In North America, participants were pre-selected based on eligibility. This necessitated PlayStation 4 ownership and a specific Trophy requirement acrossDemon’s Souls,Dark Souls, and/orDark Souls IIon PS3.
For anyone who doesn’t make the cut, but is hoping to get in anyway — sorry, no such luck. SCEA stressed that the North AmericanBloodbornealpha is strictly a development tool and is not intended to promote the game. As such, it’s not open to the public, and any requests beyond those that are pre-selected will not be fulfilled.
