The comments come almost a year to the day that Bend Studio announced it would venture into new IP territory for its next project, news that came as something of a consolation prize tothe controversial storythat aDays Gonesequel was canned by Sony, despite the team feeling very passionate toward the idea of creating one.As I said at the time, you sometimes have to “do the thing to do the thing”, and if Bend delivers a major hit for Sony with this new project, then perhaps the parent company will see to makingDays Gone 2a reality.

In related news, Bend Studio also revealed its new branding, complete with a snazzy new logo. The company has opened up numerous job listings for a wide variety of designers, coders, artists, and animators. You can check out the vacancies over onthe official Bend Studio website.
