Service provided for high school students interested in the industry

Valve has just revealed its newPipeline service, which is “a website created for high school students interested in the videogame industry by a group of high school interns working at Valve.” There’s an accompanying video to go along with the project, which has real live high schoolers themselves talking about Pipeline and not being totally awkward. These interns will be doing interviews to go over the various aspects of getting into the industry and what it’s like being a young hip kid at Valve.

More information will come “within the next month or so,” but I’m glad to see such a service exist. High school is a confusing time for most everybody and to have some solid answers on an ever-growing career interest area will be nice. I’m not sure that Valve is the best company to use as a basis, given it’sunique structure, but it will definitely give students something awesome to aspire to.
