It looks pretty clear
Spike Chunsoft is going pretty wild when it comes to PC releases. FollowingDanganronpa 1and2, as well as an upcoming port ofZero Time Dilemma, it looks like999is in the cards. With the simple tweet of “A familiar ship heads into port,” accompanied by a reference to the intro of999, as well as atweet from the directorcalling it a “STEAMship,” it seems clear.
Even though the 3DS can play DS games, and the original is fairly easy (and cheap) to find (and the dual screen setup is essential), a wider PC release is always a good thing. This is one of the premiere puzzle/visual novel games of the past decade or so, and a wonderful introduction to the genre.
