Sony has revealed that the PlayStation Vita’s sold 1.8 million units worldwide to date, with Sony’s Kaz Hirai claiming that the system has enjoyed a promising launch. It’s certainly more positive news in the wake of the system’sslow performance in Japan. “About Vita,” said Hirai, “the last year, [we sold] 1.8 million units for US, Japan, Asia and Europe. And as a starting phase, I think it was a good start....
For free P.T.was one of the most entertaining games I played in 2014. Even though it was just a demo, the “playable teaser” forSilent Hillswas a perfect horror experience, nailing a lot of elements that current horror games completely miss. Sadly, it appears as if the fully realized game was not meant to be, asKonami has canceled it, and the demois leaving the PSN for goodtomorrow. That means you have very little time to actually pick it up, so do what you need to do....

If you want to pick it up in the EU, it’s available now, and the Xbox One and PS4 editions are already out in the US. One. More. Run. Given my taste in games these days, I should have been able to get intoRogue Legacy. It contains most of the elements I look for in this new generation of roguelikes which may or may not actually be much likeRogue, but for reasons that remain a mystery, the experience never fully clicked. I like what I’ve played of the game — which is admittedly not a whole lot — but I’m also happy to letRogue Legacyjust sit in my Steam library unnoticed....

Yeah, I don’t know either. But at least T3 gives us something really interesting to look at while we imagine it. According toGizmodo, an insider at T3 says that Sony is working on a slim and trim PS3 revamp for a Fall release. Of course, none of this is confirmed, but I can say that their mockup looks amazing. Maybe therumored 160 and 120GB modelswe mentioned earlier will sport a new, slim profile....

However, ifthese leaked screens and descriptionsare true it’s a much bigger reboot then any of us expected. Reportedly from a mole inside Eidos, the screens show a much younger, harder and less sexified Lara doing battle on horseback and fighting off some very nasty looking creatures....
Rusty Heartsfrom Perfect World Entertainment has been in closed beta testing for a little while now. It rolled out on on July 27th, and now it will be moving to the next stage on September 13th. To prepare for this, the game’s closed beta will end on September 8th at 2:00pm Pacific. This move to open beta will occur concurrently for both North America and Europe. There will also be a number or changes included with this step up to open beta....

As a boy of lowly standing, he joins Gut’s crew and puts his fencing skills to use, as well as his artifacts like the Sylph Sword that projects wind blasts, or the Sylph Cloak that makes him quicker on his feet....

Electronic Arts has announced that it has secured the exclusive worldwide rights for author Robert Ludlum’s work, including the popular Jason Bourne series. The first Bourne title to come from this multi-year agreement will be a Bourne game developed by Starbreeze Studios, the folks responsible for first-person/third-person affairsChronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher BayandThe Darkness. This seems to fly in the face of previous rumors that claimed the “secret project” (dubbed “Project RedLime”) Starbreeze was working on for EA was a remake of their dormant franchise,Syndicate....
